Let’s do this together.

Why I want to run for Mayor....

My name is Donya Sartor and I am running to become the next Mayor of Jonesboro. I made this decision after extensive thought, prayer and conversations with family, friends and residents of Jonesboro. I am running because I have the experience and passion to create continued progress in the city of Jonesboro for everyone. My vision will promote strategic progress while being intentional about preserving the small town charm that we know and love about Jonesboro.

CLEAN & SAFE NEIGHBORHOODS

A safe & clean community is my top priority. Everyone wants to live, play, work, and visit a safe and beautiful environment. My goal will be to work closely with all agencies and organizations to create an inclusive and clean community where people feel physically, socially, and psychologically safe.

TRUSTED LEADERSHIP

The citizens of Jonesboro deserve a leader that is honest and trustworthy. I am committed to creating a government that values transparency and accountability.

RESPONSIBLE GROWTH

I will push back against developers that are more concerned about their profit than the residents of the City of Jonesboro and safeguard smart developments that provide diversified housing, dining, and entertainment options that honor and respect Jonesboro’s diversity and quality of life.
